Kostas Koukaras has over 25 years of experience in water ecosystems monitoring and evaluation focusing on aquaculture activities and coastal zone management.
A brief history from his experience on the field is shown below.
2025
Main research activities focus on the development of marine monitoring tools to assess changes related to the Climate Crisis, the evaluation of the productive and nutritional characteristics of marine products, and the connection between research and the business sector.
Coordinator or Deputy Coordinator (Scientific Responsible) in more than seven (7) research projects, with a total budget exceeding €300,000.
